Healthy Living
pp. 72-87
On Monday we play a little catch-up. Snow Days have to be paid for and the usual price is a little loss of routine. We should have been working on Health on Friday... but maybe Monday is a healthier day for this particular discussion.

Read: in Hawke:
Chapter 7, "The Rhythms of Life" pp. 88-100As much as novelty is important to us, a life entirely composed of novel situations in novel environments would be more chaotic than any of us could stand. We can imagine that in a strange new environment certain stable patterns of life would be of vital importance in maintaining a necessary equilibrium. This chapter will introduce us to a number of these patterns of behavior.

Manners and Morals
Read: in Hawke
Chapter 8. "Manners and Morals" pp. 101-114A poser for you: Why did Hawke collect "language, crime and punishment, and "rank and style" into a single chapter? I'll come up with a suitable reward for the person who presents the most reasonable answer.
